Neutering
In order to prevent unwanted pregnancy or diseases associated with the reproductive system, it is advisable to get your pet spayed (female) or castrated (male).
- Cats can be castrated or spayed from 6 months old.
- Dogs - discuss with your vet what age to neuter your dog as this can vary between individuals.
- Rabbits can be neutered from 5 months old.
- Other species - please ask one of our vets.
