Ashley Paul (Office Manager)
Ashley is our office manager; ensuring the practice is run smoothly. She has
worked at Cambridge Veterinary Group since June 2000 and is a huge asset to the
practice. In addition to this, Ashley is also the Homing Officer for the Cambridge
Cats Protection charity. She is dedicated to rescuing cats and finding suitable
new owners for them and is always happy to hear from anyone interested in
offering a cat a new home.
Karin ('Flo') Merritt VN, Nurse/Receptionist
Flo has been with us since the later 1980s and is a key member of our staff. A
local person, she grew up in Hadstock near Linton. An outstandingly able nurse
with immense knowledge of dogs, cats and 'exotic' species (birds, reptiles and
small mammals), in the mid-1990s she won the UK national 'Veterinary Nurse of the
Year' award. At that time she was our Head Nurse. Unfortunately ill-health
prevented Flo continuing in that role but she has applied her talents in other
directions:
- As an excellent teacher and our Internal Assessor for veterinary nurses under the NVQ system.
- Running our acclaimed Puppy School.
- Providing sound and practical behavioural advice to clients with problem pets.
