George Francis

George graduated from Cambridge Vet School in 2018, and has since worked at various practices around Cambridgeshire, before doing a rotating internship, and post graduate-certificate in veterinary surgery and medicine, at Dick White Referrals. After the internship George went on to work at a specialist Clinical Pathology lab in Hitchin but missed general practice and joined CVG in March 2022. Before becoming a vet George also studied Zoology at Bristol University and worked on wildlife parks across South Africa.  

He has a keen clinical interest in Surgery, Internal Medicine and Dermatology, and uses his Clinical Pathology skills to supplement his knowledge in these areas. 

Outside of veterinary life George enjoys playing golf and looking after his little Pomeranian, Miette. He and his partner Camilla are keen cooks and are never found far from good food and a glass of wine in their spare time.
