Important Client Notice
THESE MEASURES HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED DURING THE LOCKDOWN PERIOD.
CLIENTS WILL BE ATTENDED TO IN THE CAR PARK. PLEASE CALL ON ARRIVAL.
We are now able to offer consultations within the practice for most appointments. If you prefer not to come inside we will come out to see you, or contact you by phone to discuss your pet's problem.
Please call the practice to inform reception of your arrival and confirm your mobile number for contact. You will receive a text message from the vet to invite you inside when ready, into one of our waiting room Bays. Please giving way to anyone coming out and maintain distance from any other visitors or staff. The vet will speak with you in the waiting area then take your pet into the consultation room to examine them and administer any treatment required.
In order to comply with government guidelines and to minimise risks we will require;
- One client per appointment only
- A face covering to be worn at all times inside the building
- Hand sanitiser to be used on entry and exit
We also have a QR code displayed prominently around the practice, including in the bays, to allow you to check-in via the NHS Covid-19 app. After your appointment you may briefly visit the Reception counter by the door to book your next appointment and pay by card. If space and distancing become difficult we will ask you to move on. In this case we will email you your invoice for online payment and ask you to call us to make your next appointment.
We will still be exchanging all samples, medications and food orders outside on the small table, as currently, and also some nurse appointments may not be able to come inside due to space limitations.
We understand that some of you may be worried and disappointed that you aren't yet able to come into the consultation room with your pet(s). Please be reassured that we are all doing our best to make them comfortable whilst they are away from you.
